Lehua - Metrosideros polymorpha (‘ohi‘a lehua or lehua), is an evergreen tree of the
myrtle family endemic to the islands of Hawaii. With varying displays of flowers, colors
ranging from white, yellow and orange to bright red, they are most impressive when
sprouting out of seemingly nothing else but rocks from hardened lava slopes. They also
flourish to become trees like the orange one below submitting to a strong ocean breeze.
